In season 2024/2025 Akhmetshina will make her stage debuts as Carmen with Wiener Staatsoper and as Adalgisa in Norma with Theater an der Wien, return to Teatro Real Madrid as Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda, as Carmen to Royal Opera House and Teatro San Carlo Napoli, Deutsche Oper Berlin as Charlotte in Werther, as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with The Metropolitan Opera and Opéra national de Paris, Bayerische Staatsoper in The Septemberfest Concert and 3rd Academy Concert under the baton of Thomas Guggeis.

Future engagements include her debuts with Opernhaus Zürich, Staatsoper Berlin, Theater an der Wien, returns to Bayerische Staatsoper, Teatro Real Madrid, Royal Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, as Adalgisa, Elisabetta, Carmen, Rosina, Charlotta, Isabella, Dalila, Donna Elvira, Maffio Orsini.

Akhmetshina’s recent engagements include Romeo in I Capuletie i Montecchi with Salzburger Festspiele, Carmen at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper, Glyndebourne Festival, Arena di Verona, Carmen in 7 Deaths of Maria Callas at the English National Opera, Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda for Teatro di San Carlo. Other past engagements include Charlotte in Werther, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia for the Royal Opera House, Maddalena in Rigoletto for the Metropolitan Opera, Olga in Eugene Onegin with San Francisco Opera, Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda with Dutch National Opera, debuts with Teatro Real as Angelina in La Cenerentola, Fenena in Nabucco at Hamburg Staatsoper, Maddalena in Rigoletto and Lola Cavalleria Rusticana for Royal Opera House, Polina in Pique Dame with Baden-Baden Festival and Berliner Philharmoniker under the baton of Maestro Petrenko, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus with New National Theater Tokyo, Varvara in Katya Kabanova for Glyndebourne Opera Festival, and returns to Deutsche Oper Berlin as Carmen, her sensational debut as Carmen in Barrie Kosky’s production, Polina in Pique Dame Teatro San Carlo Napoli, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Olga in Eugene Onegin Israeli Opera, Dulcinea in Don Quichotte at Wexford Opera Festival.

On the concert platform, she performed West Side Story with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome under the baton of Maestro Pappano, Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater with The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Beethoven's Symphony No 9 in Palau de La Música Catalana and Teatro Real, concerts with Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of Maestro Spivakov, concerts with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at the Bath Abbey, and Carinthian Symphony Orchestra during the Carinthian Summer Music Festival in Austria.

Akhmetshina joined the prestigious Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House in 2017/18, where her roles included Preziosilla in La forza del destino, Carmen and Mercedes in Carmen, the title role of Carmen in La Tragédie de Carmen, and Sonyetka in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk. She trained at the Ufa State Institute of Arts in Russia and continues to study with Nailya Yusupova. Awards include the Grand Prix at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition, third prize in the Sonora International Opera Competition Francisco Araiza.
